A peace proposal
People think a peace between Israelis and Palestinians is possible without the other Arab/Muslim nations being involved in the process. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Hitler said what he would do when he got into power and when he got into power he did it.
As long as Palestinians/Arabs/Muslims consider all of Israel occupied territory, then no solution is possible. Israel has a right to live in peace with secure borders free from attack as any other nation in the world does. Rockets fired into “occupied Palestine” are an attack. A military operation in Gaza to stop the rocket attacks is justified.
The high death and injury count among civilians is a direct result of the use of Palestinian/Gaza citizens as Human Shields. The Hamas government admits it:

“We desire death like you desire life.” What kind of peace can come from that?

Peace *with* Israel? Here’s my solution:
I am willing to push the Israeli government to withdraw every outpost and settlement from the West Bank [and Gaza] and to pay fair compensation to those who chose to leave back in 1947-48*, in exchange for giving up the so-called “right of return’ and peace with Israel’s neighbours including the right to secure borders and freedom from attack within the 1948-1967 boundaries.
Peace with Israel’s neighbours [all Arab/Muslim nations**] includes the dismantling of the refugee camps and granting the refugees full citizenship rights of the country they choose to reside outside of Israel. Regional trade agreements in combination with peace, will ensure that employment opportunities exist for all citizens.
However, if the Palestinian/Arabs/Muslim version of peace with Israel is raising the banner of Islam over all of Palestine like Hamas says it wants to
http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp
or elimination of Zionism in Palestine as the PLO says
http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/plocov.asp
then all one can expect is war, death and destruction as Israel chooses to reject their stated intentions.

**This means reversing the Khartoum Resolutions passed in 1967: http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/khartoum.asp
“This will be done within the framework of the main principles by which the Arab States abide, namely, no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with it…”
P.S. Ten tips against anti-Semitism http://www.gebladerte.nl/30037v01.htm
“Activists wishing to criticise the Israeli state must be careful not to descend into anti-Semitic reasoning. Here are 10 tips to avoid anti-Semitism in discussions, articles, leaflets and demonstrations”
De Fabel van de illegaal (The myth of illegality) is a radical-Left organisation working from the grassroots level in Leiden, Holland. We want a free socialist and feminist society, without racism, nationalism or fascism. This group is brutally honest about their goals and ideals. They have removed themselves from anti-globalization efforts in the EU because of that movement’s ties/links to neo-Nazi groups.
The Ten tips are disliked by many anti-Zionists because it reveals their true agenda.
